Challenges

I have always heard of People being busy doing nothing and I had thought it was just a vain phrase. Dear reader, it is actually possible to be busy while you do nothing.

I pray for forgiveness from God and you my beloved reader for absconding from the duty to write the mind of God through me out to you, believe me, its one of those things. The devil is a mastercraftsman at ceasing the slightest opportunity. A second of insensitivity is enough chance for him to take. He exchanges a vision at the slightest chance to Challenges.

Challenges come in diverse ways to arrest our spirit. Imagine someone being arrested for an offence he is wrongly accused of and there seem to be no way out for him.

Yes, call the Lawyer! That’s Jesus’ role for our soul. Call on Jesus’ the greatest advocate. Pray

Prayer is necessary for peace, strength, and power… it remains true for believers.
How do you begin each day? How much time in the morning do you dedicate to thanking God and surrendering your day and challenges to Him?  Will you rather continue to give the Devil chance in your life to waste Your devotion,Your time, money, and energy on try to solve it your way?

Prayer
Father God, You are the God who loves us with an everlasting love, and You long to have an intimate relationship with us. Forgive me, Lord, for lacking faith, for being undisciplined, for failing to place my communication with You as the highest priority in my life. Give me a renewed Spirit and reignite the desire within me to share everything with You. Help me see every challenge as a call to draw nearer to you.Thank You, Lord, for being available and accessible for me to come to You at any time, at any place, for any reason. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God has it all covered

Isaiah 49:13 Sing,  O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and  break forth into singing, O mountains: for  the Lord hath comforted his people, and  will have mercy upon his afflicted. 14 But  Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and  my Lord hath forgotten me. 15 Can a  woman forget her sucking child, that she  should not have compassion on the son of  her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I  not forget thee. 16 Behold, I have graven  thee upon the palms of my hands; thy  walls are continually before me.
When we are confronted with problems, we might think God has forgotten us. Thoughts comes to mind to weaken our heart, even the devil ceases opportunity to feed us with diverse lies, through it all do not forget that God has you in mind.

I love this hymn, “what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grieves to bear, what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer”. Everything to God in prayer, means whatever, simple situation, complex situation, your secret, your fear, your worry, EVERYTHING to God in prayer.

God’s love is everlasting, never changing, upholding and lifting. Its power is always there to work for us. Do not permit the devil to stress you unnecessarily with worry. Anxiety does not solve a problem, it drains your ability to solve the problem. A popular saying is “HAKUNA MATATA” means “Don’t Worry”. Relax in God. God is bigger than that problem, he is bigger than your questions, bigger than any mountain, you can or cannot see.

A song rings in my heart whenever worry comes and it works for me;

Why worry? When you can pray

Trust in Jesus and he will lead the way

Don’t be a doubting Thomas

Just keep on trusting Jesus

Why worry, worry, worry?

When you can pray.

Prayer is being emphasized upon here. My Father in the Lord once told me never to underestimate the power of Prayer. Prayer is the key, it is the master key. Take it all to God in prayer and leave it all to him knowing he cares for you, and see God stand for you. Don’t forget to appreciated him for his Love, Care and Mercy. Hallelujah.

Imperfection’s ring

“For there is now no condemnation for them that are in Christ”. Romans 8:8
As I read through Open heavens daily devotional of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, for February 8, 2017, titled Another Chance. The story of a woman who was caught in adultery and was about to be stoned to death according to the Mosaic law, but was given another chance to live, since no one could stone her. The Saviour indeed saved her physically and spiritually as he told her to “go and sin no more”.  I was double-minded, I believe the word of God, but the devil was telling me that I am born-again, yet I sin against God. I condemned myself. Feelings of imperfection overwhelmed me, sobered me that I yearned for perfection.

‘Mistakes that are not deliberate will not turn God against you and your being “Perfect” will not necessarily make God love you more! He hates our sins, but He loves you ALWAYS despite your being average or Perfect’ (ODM February 20, 2017). The grace of God is all we need, 2 Corinthians 2:9 “And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me”.

Even as we work towards perfection in Christ Jesus, the devil is seeking ways to pull us apart. Resist the devil and he will flee. Do your best in the faith, Jesus gave us the greatest commandment in Matthew 22:35 “Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind”. If you love God you will fear and do his will. I pray we remain faithful till He comes to take us, Amen.

Prayer: I choose to do my best to be holy and perfect. Lord, help me to grow above errors in Jesus name. Amen.

I am seizing this opportunity to get a copy of Open Heavens and Our Daily Manna. We need the word of God to encourage us at times like this.

You are not alone

“And he said, the Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer. The God of my rock, in him will I trust, he is my shield, the horn of my salvation, my high tower and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.”               2 Samuel 22: 2-3.

When storms come raging, when waters come as flood, when the cool breeze suddenly becomes a tornado. Life seems to turn around, and it seems like the whole world is against you. When people you hold dear turn their backs on you for a reason you really can’t even explain. You would want to lose trust in yourself and your destiny. Hold on, isn’t that what the enemy wants you to do, to use the things you hold dear against you, your family, friends and whatever. Remember Job, he lost it all, one thing he didn’t lose was his heart in God. No, he didn’t lose heart. “Wait on the Lord, be of good cheer and he will strengthen your heart. Wait I say, wait on the Lord”.  Psalms 27:14. The Egyptians that the Israelites were so full of fear for, became history to them. Its a matter of time. It came and will surely pass.

David was confronted with a battle against his own flesh and blood, a man of valor turned a fleeing king, his host and most cherished advicer were participants in the team “kill King David”. He overcame with God’s help. Several other people were faced with likely situation; Joseph, Daniel, even Jesus Christ, so you see “You are not alone”. The God Jehovah who saved them is still on the throne.

The best thing to do at times like this is to take your stand under the mightiest fortress of Jehovah the mighty man in battle. At times like this the Bible is the best companion,  He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, Ps 91:1. At the end of the tunnel there is light. Weeping may endure for a night, Joy comes in the morning.

The name of Jesus saves, heals, delivers.Hallelujah.
